FAQ
Architectural Changes
Any architectural changes to the exterior of your home, including color changes to roof or siding, fence installation, or landscaping, must be approved by the Architectural Standards Committee prior to the start of work. The Homeowner Request for Change form (PDF) can be downloaded here.
Dues
In order to better accommodate our residents, the KFHOA board has shifted the due date for HOA assessments to February 1st. If you have not received your 2022 invoice / list of payment options, etc., please contact Main Street Management.
Failure to pay within 28 days of the due date will result in a late fee, and possible legal action.
Community Yard Sale
The community yard sale is the first Saturday in May & October.
Trash and Recycling
The City of Lawrence contracts with Republic Services, Inc. to provide trash collection and recycling services. Additional information, including an interactive pickup schedule, may be found on the City of Lawrence website.
Heavy trash pickup for Kensington Farms residents is on Tuesday of the 3rd full week of each month.
Each of the five neighborhoods within Kensington Farms has a uniform mailbox + post style appropriate to the homes within that neighborhood.
Please contact Main Street Management to obtain the specifications, as well as a list of recommended vendors for replacement / installation.
Playground & Tennis Court
The tennis court is open to residents from dawn until dusk.
A valid, activated access key is required for entry.
Please report any suspicious activity in or around the playground and/or tennis court areas to the Lawrence Police Department’s Non-Emergency Communications Center at (317) 545-7575.
Rentals
Renting your home is not permitted in the Kensington Farms community without prior approval from the HOA board.
Please email Main Street Management to request approval.
Snow Removal
Kensington Farms streets are owned by the City of Lawrence, who is responsible for clearing them.
Please report slippery intersections or other unsafe areas to the Lawrence Police Department at (317) 545-7575.
Yard Barns / Storage Sheds
Yard barns / storage sheds are not permitted in Kensington Farms.
